Page Production
The UPC can produce composed pages to suit your preferred output media including Film, Postscript, PDF, RC Paper, or Plain Paper. We also support the latest Computer-to-Plate technology, enabling you to further reduce time to print.
Graphic Design
Our staff of creative graphic designers is proficient in the latest Mac and PC-based print and Web graphic design applications, providing you with creative and visually pleasing pages that will attract your readers' attention. We specialize in custom page layout and high quality color output in deadline-intensive environments.
The UPC graphic designers are experienced in the Adobe suite of applications including Illustrator®, Photoshop®, Acrobat™, Pagemaker®, InDesign™, and Streamline™, along with other state-of-the-art packages including Claris Home Page, Macromedia®, Freehand®, Macromedia Director®, and Extreme 3D.
We can create a number of outputs and interfaces including print or online directory ads, CD/DVD labels, and Web or CD user interfaces.
Scanning
The UPC provides comprehensive scanning services including copydot, continuous tone descreening, image editing, proofing, and color correction. Equipped with a diverse array of modern equipment, The UPC can accept a wide range of originals, can output to almost any digital file format, and can accomplish a wide variety of image processing tasks on several platforms. We can correct and enhance printed originals, as well as edit and process digital images. In fact, we scan more than 100,000 images each year.
